PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING DISCLOSURE

RAASM S.p.A. (hereinafter “Company”) is the data controller for the data received on the website (hereinafter “site”) and, relating to Art. 13 of Regulation EU 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), hereby publishes this disclosure regarding the protection of data for natural persons. Article 13 of Regulation EU 2016/679 requires written disclosure of the purposes for and methods by which the personal data communicated by users when navigating the site is processed. This disclosure does not pertain to any other third-party website, even if accessible through a link from this site.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Three types of data may be received:
  1. Browser data
  2. Data provided voluntarily by the user
  3. Cookies

1. Browser data

During normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data, the communication of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected with the intent of associating it with identified data subjects but by its very nature could permit the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties. This type of data includes, for example, IP addresses, computer domain names for users who access the site, the time of the request and other parameters pertaining to the user’s operating system and computing environment. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on website use and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing.

2. Data provided voluntarily by the user

The site has a section for collecting voluntary user data which the user can independently and voluntarily decide if they wish to provide. Data which is voluntarily entered in this section is therefore acquired by RAASM S.p.A. Only data provided by the user is acquired. Data acquired may be used to respond to user requests or, if authorised, to send marketing communications. Data acquired may also be used to improve the user’s experience when navigating the site.

3. Cookies

In compliance with the Italian Personal Data Protection Authority decree no. 229 of 8 May 2014, on “Simplified arrangements to provide information and obtain consent regarding cookies”, the Company informs users about the use of navigation cookies on the Site. Also in this case, the disclosure applies only to the Website and not to any other third party, even if accessible through a link from the site.

What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file that is sent to your browser and saved on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies make websites more efficient and improve their performance. They provide proprietary information to the website for compiling statistics or for advertising purposes, mainly to personalise your experience by remembering your preferences.

Types of cookie
There are three types of cookies:

  • Session cookies. These are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Permanent cookies. These cookies stay in the device’s memory until a specific termination date (this could be minutes, days or years from the date the cookie was created/updated).
  • Third party cookies. These are installed by third parties.

It is possible to control and erase individual cookies in the browser settings (for most browsers). However, this may interfere with the proper functioning of some operations on our website. For further information, please refer to www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING, NATURE OF PROVISION OF DATA AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL

The company will process your data to facilitate navigation and provide any services you request through the designated forms provided on the Site. Beyond what is specified for navigation data and technical cookies, within the sections of the Site where you may request specific services, you will be free to provide your personal data for the purposes described in this disclosure. However, failure to provide this information may result in the impossibility of obtaining the requested service. If you provide consent in the specific section, your data may also be processed in order to send you marketing communications. Your data may be processed on paper or electronically and, specifically, using ordinary postal, email or telephone services (i.e.: authorised phone calls, SMS, MMS), fax or another electronic medium (website, mobile app).

DATA STORAGE PERIOD

Personal data collected when using the Site is processed for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and, once this has been completed, for the time established by current law. Unused data will be deleted after 24 months from the date of last contact or the last marketing communication was sent.

SCOPE OF DATA COMMUNICATION AND TYPES OF RECIPIENTS

Any data collected or received may be transmitted, only for the purposes described above, to internal personnel authorised to process it as part of their job duties or to outside parties to whom it is necessary to communicate this data. These recipients, when they must process data for our company, will be designated as data processors with a special contract or other legal deed.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES AND/OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS

Personal data will not be transferred to non-European third countries.

AUTOMATIC PROFILING

Your personal data will not be used for automatic profiling.

  1. right to access; in other words, the right to receive confirmation from the Company on whether your personal data is being processed, and if so, to access said data;
