RAASM has strengthened its range of ram hoists, offering new models and accessories which make these machines simple, effective and safe to work with.
The new catalogue, which is now available (no. 222-SP), presents the traditional RAASM ram hoists alongside all the new additions.
In particular, we would like to mention the new 11/85 version for 180-220 kg drums, with a handy base to hold the pallet. This enables quick and easy drum change.
Furthermore, the following optionals are available for this version: pneumatic controls for the maximum and minimum drum height using limit switches; visible air bleeder valve to eliminate air pockets inside the drum ensuring a clean workplace; pneumatic system maximum pressure release valve.
The advantages are seen immediately: easy drum change; efficiency and safety through drum level control; clean workplace; compatibility with all RAASM pumps; effectiveness with viscosity levels NLGI3 and higher (check temperature).
Plus, one of the most interesting new products for 2015 is the ram hoist for 18-30 kg drums. This model, which offers smaller dimensions but the same performance with high viscosities, has the same great features – pneumatic limit switches, visible air bleeder, and system pressure release valve – as the previous version. In addition, it also features a practical cart for manual transport of the equipment.
The 18-30 kg ram hoist can be used with drums max Ø 310 mm, and max height 490 mm.
The versions for 18-30 kg and 180-220 kg drums can be used in any industrial context where high-volume, quick and safe pumping of greases, lubricating oils, industrial liquids, paints, inks, resins, silicone or glue is required.
